The project involved the relocation of slow worms prior to any works commencing on site and extensive consultation with local residents and stakeholders.
Substructure: Trench-fill concrete with PCC beam and block flooring.
Frame: Hybrid timber frame - 140 mm timber stud, OSB sheathing, breather membrane, 20mm air void, 120mm insulation and 20mm air void.
External Facing: Wienerberger Tuscan Red Multi, Wienerberger Harvest Buff and Redland Mini Stonewold Slate Brown roof tiles.
Heating: Baxi Neta-Tec Combination Boiler with thermostatically controlled wall mounted radiators.
Ventilation: Traditional extract ventilation - Manrose
Pre-planning community consultation attended by the client, professional team and EG Carter & Co Ltd ensuring that the local community had a voice in discussing the proposals and addressing local issues prior to submission for planning permission.
