Scaffold is down to show off the 29 new affordable homes in Bristol

Over the last 76 weeks E G Carter & Co Ltd have been working hard to construct 29 new properties at Bedminster Road in Bristol for local Housing Association, Solon.

The Scaffold has now been taken down to show the 29 apartments in their full glory.

The original building, a former petrol filling station has been demolished and will be replaced with one, two- and three-bedroom properties all for rent. Richard James, Director of Development and Asset Management for Solon Housing Association said: “Solon are delighted to be working collaboratively with E G Carter & Co Ltd, Bristol City Council and Homes England to deliver 29 high quality affordable homes for rent in Bedminster. The flats are looking great and we can’t wait to take handover of the scheme in early spring 2021 and our customers to start moving into these much-needed homes”

For E G Carter & Co Ltd, a Gloucestershire based construction Company The completion of this project will surpass the 200th affordable home delivered within a BS post code over recent years.

Over the next few months internal works will be taking place ready for handover in Spring 2021.
