“It is great to see Starbucks join other well-known brands at Kingsway, providing excellent sustainable shopping and leisure facilities for local people and businesses in the area.”
The Magic Bean Company will now undertake the internal fit-out ahead of opening, with the new store expected to welcome its first customers in March 2026.
Melissa Allen, Central Operations Manager at The Magic Bean Company, said:
“We’re really pleased to be part of this exciting redevelopment and to bring Starbucks to the busy area of Quedgeley. We’re looking forward to serving the community and creating careers for local people.”
The Starbucks forms part of the wider Kingsway masterplan, a major mixed-use development on the site of the former RAF Quedgeley. The scheme has transformed the area into a thriving community, incorporating new homes, employment space, retail, leisure and education facilities.
