Main sponsors of the Gloucester 10k Race for a second year running.

E G Carter & Co Ltd is delighted to be the main sponsors of the Gloucester 10k race for a second year. The race will be held on Sunday 8th July 2018.

This year the race celebrates its fifth anniversary in its new format. It was rescued by Davies and Partners Solicitors supported by Gloucester Quays Rotary when the commercial organiser pulled out. The aim is to show off Gloucester at its best, provide a healthy activity for those from Gloucester and further afield and to return monies made to local charities.

Amongst the charities that will benefit from the race are The James Hopkins Trust and Young Gloucestershire.
“The James Hopkins Trust is one of our Charities of the year” said Kimberley Clay, PR Coordinator at E G Carter & Co Ltd. “As the headline sponsor we have also designed the t-shirt for this year’s event. We have collaborated with Architectural Illustrator, Michael Lewis and used his illustration of Gloucester Docks as the focus for the running shirts.”

Nigel Tillott, Director at Davies and Partners Solicitors said “It is wonderful that E G Carter & Co Ltd have agreed to be headline sponsors again this year. The company got really involved in the race last year and it was a pleasure to work alongside it.”

E G Carter & Co Ltd will be standing tall and entering a team to run the 10k route. The course is designed with sightseeing in mind but is predominantly flat as you will run past Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucester Docks and the Quays.
