‘Ground’ is broken as construction starts on the new Costa in Cheltenham

The small event saw Royal London Asset Management’s Development Project Manager, Mark Carroll use the E G Carter & Co Ltd engraved spade to officially break ground and celebrate the start of construction.

Over the next 20 weeks, the Centrum Retail Park based in Cheltenham will see the new addition come to life as they welcome a brand new Costa Coffee into the Park. The new facility will offer a drive-thru service along with indoor and outdoor seating.

Mark Harries, Associate Director at E G Carter & Co Ltd said, “E G Carter have been working with Royal London for over six years and we are very pleased to be breaking ground on another project with them, Rider Levett Bucknall, The Harris Partnership and Clancy Consulting to provide a Costa Coffee drive-thru in Cheltenham.

The piling works are complete and we are on track for the steel frame to be erected in March with cladding works following closely behind.

Mark Carroll from Royal London Asset Management said, ““It is a pleasure to be working alongside E G Carter & Co Ltd and Project Team again to help us to deliver another new facility for the Retail Park.”

Come June 2019, the new building will be complete providing a new facility for the Retail Park.
