E G Carter & Co Ltd support staff well-being at Alderman Knight School.

A £200 donation was made on behalf of E G Carter & Co Ltd to enable the staff to have a raffle every week up until Christmas. Staff well-being is an important factor for the school especially after the unprecedented year 2020 has bought. Ceri Jones, Business Manager at Alderman Knight School said “With 2020 coming to an end our Teachers and Support Staff are all running on empty. During this difficult year, staff have adapted amazingly with online learning, home visits, welfare calls and so many Zoom and Teams meetings they now blur into one. This generous donation will enable us to put in place a few wellbeing events to give our staff a well-deserved boost before the end of term. The money will allow us to purchase gifts for our end of term staff raffle and have a weekly draw. It is important for us to keep the morale strong, when the energy levels are low, for us all to continue to provide an outstanding education for our pupils. Having something to look forward to is going to help us do this. Thank you!”

E G Carter & Co Ltd are currently working at the school constructing an extension to the Post 16 Building. E G Carter and Co Ltd constructed the Post 16 Building which was completed in 2017. Allocated through the Lot 2 Gloucestershire County Council Framework agreement, this latest project will include three new classrooms and various break out areas, in line with the Post 16 Building, as the school continues to grow.
