Over the next few days E G Carter & Co Ltd has the pleasure of mentoring 3 work experience students from Beaufort Co-op Academy in Gloucester.

Kyle Emery, Marshall Ferris and Dawid Kropidlowski, all year 10 students at Beaufort Co-operative Academy, will be working alongside employees who have 20 or more years of experience on-site, work within our in-house joinery shop and even spend time working on the new offices at our headquarters.

Joshua Carter, Contracts Manager and mentor of the Apprentice and Management Trainee scheme, said “E G Carter & Co Ltd get involved with work experience week each year, it’s all about encouraging young people to take an interest in the working world as well as finding something that inspires them. We have worked together with Beaufort School for many years now, and it’s great to help the future generation find their passion.”

E G Carter & Co Ltd is currently working closely with Beaufort Co-op Academy and have recently completed the new entrance to the school along with a new teaching block. The School were originally using outside terrapins to manage the growth but as they are quickly deteriorating, it was time for the School to take on a new chapter and expand. Thanks to E G Carter & Co Ltd the new space is now ready for the students to use and the school to grow again.
