E G Carter & Co Ltd Celebrates Topping Out Ceremony at New Site in Bridgend

E G Carter & Co Ltd are is delighted to announce the successful topping out ceremony at our latest project site in Bridgend in Central Park. The event marked a significant milestone in the construction of a new builder’s merchants, service yard, and associated infrastructure, showcasing the progress made by our dedicated team.

"It’s great to be celebrating the topping out of another project for Robert Hitchins," said Mark Harries, Associate Director at E G Carter & Co Ltd. "It's been a collaborative effort between all parties, Robert Hitchins, Gardiner & Theobald, Inspire Design, Vale Consultancy and Hydrock, and we're proud of the progress we've made so far, despite the Welsh weather. This facility will be a great addition to the industrial estate, and also contribute positively to the local economy."

Our client, Robert Hitchins hopes that this new building will be cornerstone of development in the area, providing essential services and infrastructure to support local businesses and communities.

To make this project a memorable one Jake Matthews was appointed as the Site Manager. Jake, who joined E G Carter & Co Ltd in 2019 as a Management Trainee, demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout his 4 years training on site and in College. Having completed his qualifications and training, he is now fulfilling his role exceptionally as a Site Manager, a testament to his growth and development within the company.

The topping out ceremony signifies a significant step forward in the construction process, with completion expected in July 2024, with the tenant fit-out following on straight after.
