E G Carter & Co Ltd were contracted to provide their disaster recovery expertise in restoring the facility whilst at the same time enabling the factory to continue to trade.
Chris Nicks, Associate Director at E G Carter & Co Ltd said “The planning and execution of the works to keep the factory trading and permit safe working was probably one of the most challenging we have ever done, with chemicals, asbestos and other issues to contend with. We also had to set realistic goals to provide the client with assurances that we could keep the factory operational whilst the repair works were carried out.”
After a challenging 7 months the property services team restored the building back to working order and celebrated with an official opening ceremony with all of Tewkesbury Diamond Chrome Plating’s employees and the project team from E G Carter & Co Ltd.
