Beech Grove Homes begins work on £4m Stoke Lacy development

Work has started on an exclusive new £4.2 million housing development in the Herefordshire village of Stoke Lacy.

Beech Grove Homes and E G Carter & Co Ltd are excited to be delivering 28 high quality properties at its Newlands development, due for completion in October.

Being built in four phases, the homes mark the first foray into the Midlands by the developer.

Newlands will feature two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, as well as two apartments, for a variety of purchase options, including shared ownership.

Located a few miles from Bromyard, the homes are being constructed by Beech Grove Homes’ appointed contractor E G Carter and will offer people the opportunity to combine countryside living with easy accessibility to shops and local businesses.

Mark Battin, Beech Grove Homes Assistant Development Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be delivering these new homes in Stoke Lacy and believe they will be a significant addition to the local community.

“Herefordshire is a popular and attractive place to live and these homes will provide individuals and families alike with the chance to purchase a property in a sought after location.”

Councillor Mrs Janet Ivison, from Stoke Lacy Parish Council, added: “These properties will be of huge benefit to the village and provide a welcome boost to the local economy.

“We look forward to working with Beech Grove Homes over the months ahead as they bring these properties to market.”

Mathew Vye, Associate Director at E G Carter & Co Ltd said “This is our first development with Beech Grove Homes under the Sanctuary framework umbrella and we are looking forward to developing the relationship. Stoke Lacy is a great location for these homes and I’m sure they will be an asset to the area.”
