Over the last week E G Carter & Co Ltd has had the pleasure of mentoring 5 work experience students from Beaufort Co-op Academy in Gloucester.
During their time with us, students have shadowed our site project teams, spent time with Adams French joiners and assisted our buying team.
Joshua Carter, Contracts Manager and mentor of the Apprentice and Management Trainee scheme, said "E G Carter & Co Ltd get involved with work experience week each year, it’s all about encouraging young people to take an interest in the working world as well as finding something that inspires them. We have worked together with Beaufort School for many years now, and it’s great to help the future generation find their passion."
E G Carter & Co Ltd is in the process of completing a project at Beaufort Co-op Academy, extending the existing facilities to incorporate 8 new classrooms allowing replacement of temporary terrapins currently in use. Further works include refurbishment of the existing science block. Handover for the project is anticipated for mid-2018.
