This role has arisen due to controlled growth within the business so we are looking for individuals to join the team who can provide a structured and balanced workload to fulfil our business plan.

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager with the following skills:
- Organised, professional and collaborative working persona;
- Trustworthy team player who commands respect through actions;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent technical understanding of all forms of construction;
- Challenging, discerning and problem-solving nature; and
- At least five years’ experience of a similar design co-ordination role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Attend briefing meeting with development team to assess contract particulars and review drawing information to date;
- Develop information required schedules, design programmes, procurement schedules all in accordance with client gateway procedures;
- Arrange, chair and lead design co-ordination meetings with design team, frame/modular supplier, mechanical and electrical designer and key members of our supply chain to produce and co-ordinate information;
- Work collaboratively with our clients to oversee design strategies and to review and approve drawings and manage the design approval process;
- Control the management, co-ordination and distribution of all drawings to achieve drawing sign-off from all stakeholders;
- Manage the mechanical and electrical design process and ensure full compliance with the specification through considered and practical design cues;
- Manage and co-ordinate design change through the use of standardised documentation; and
- Manage all processes to ensure scheme compliance with specification and all statutory bodies and authorities.
